We select the safest materials possible. In this case, the Huawei inverters feature AI learning arc fault detection, AC and DC surge protection and string monitoring to help to keep the building and occupants safe.
The commissioning process includes IR (insulation resistance) testing on the DC side to ensure the installation has gone to plan.
We only use original Staubli MC4 connectors with our solar panel connections to ensure no mismatching between the connectors, which can cause an arc fault.
